Direct Encounter（同点同士の直接対決結果） 2. Buchholz Cut-1（最低得点の対戦相手を除く対戦相手のポイント合計） 3. Buchholz（全対戦相手のポイント合計） 4. Sonneborn-Berger （勝った相手のポイントとドローだった相手のポイントの半分の合計） 5. Sum of the Rating of the opponents（対戦相手のレーティングの合計） 6. 抽選 Bye（不戦）： 事前Bye：Bye(不戦)の申告は大会前日18:00まで codfish@hyper.ocn.ne.jp へのメールで受け付ける。 事前申告Byeは0.5ポイントを与えるが、最終2ラウンドの申告Byeは全て0ポイントとなる。期限以降の申告Byeも0ポイントとする。申告Byeが2ラウンド以上あるプレーヤーは入賞から外れる。 強制Bye（組合せ上のBye）の場合、1ポイントを与える。 大会前日のBye申請締切り時間以降のBye申告または大会への参加をキャンセルする場合は、 codfish@hyper.ocn.ne.jp にメールで連絡する。 キャンセル返金について 11月16日23:59 までの連絡を頂いたら返金をします。それ以降については返金しません。 デフォルトタイム： 対局開始後30分以上遅刻したプレーヤーは不戦敗とする。不戦敗となった場合、レーティングの変動はない。連絡なく不戦敗となったラウンドの全対局終了までに、参加継続の意思を連絡した場合、次のラウンドからペアリングに組み込まれる。 連絡なく不戦敗となったラウンドの全対局終了までに、参加継続の意思を主催者に連絡しなかった場合、そのプレーヤーは失格となり、大会から除外される場合がある。 電子機器の取り扱い： 対局中、プレーヤーは携帯電話・タブレット・スマートウォッチ等の電子機器類の電源を切り、カバン等に収納する必要がある。これらの機器を身に着けること、カバン等に入れたまま会場外へ持ち出すことも禁止する。対局中に電子機器類の作動、携行等が発覚した場合、当該プレーヤーはただちに負けとなる。不戦敗ではないため、レーティングは変動する。 やむを得ない事情から携帯電話等電子機器を対局中も所持しなければならない場合は、参加申込の際に codfish@hyper.ocn.ne.jp 宛に、理由を添えてメールで申請を行うこと。事情を勘案し主催者が承認した場合に限り、所持を許可する。 見学者及び対局を終えたプレーヤーも、別途指定した時間以外の会場内でのあらゆる電子機器類の使用を禁止する。 対局に関する注意事項： チェスセット、クロック、棋譜用紙は主催者が用意したものを使用する。 プレーヤーは棋譜を対局終了まで正確に記入する義務がある。対局終了後、両プレーヤーは棋譜用紙に記録された結果の確認およびサインを相互に行った後、アービターに結果を報告する。 上記に定めのない事項はFIDEのルール（Laws of Chess）に従い判断する。 表彰に関する注意事項： 表彰式を欠席した入賞者に対しては、最終順位の発表のみを行い、賞品または賞金を授与しない。ただし、事前にスタッフに連絡し、了承を得た場合はこの限りでない。主催者から入賞者に郵送等の方法で交付する場合、当該入賞者にその費用負担を求める場合がある。 メディア関連 本大会の結果は報告のためインターネット上（chess-results.com）に公開される。 また、棋譜についてもインターネット上に公開される可能性がある。 参加者は氏名、結果及び棋譜の公開に同意しているものとする。 本大会の様子を主催者が写真撮影・動画撮影を行うことがある。 これらは主催者が管理するウェブサイト・SNS・動画サイト・機関誌などの媒体で公開、また取材があった場合にはマスメディアに提供する場合がある。参加者はこれらの写真及び動画の公開、ライブ中継に同意しているものとする。 対局開始から10分間のみ、見学者にカメラ撮影（携帯電話等含む）を許可する。それ以降の撮影は禁止とする。ただし、特別な許可を受けた場合は別とする。 個人による参加者の写真・動画（対局中、表彰式等）の使用に関しては、プライバシーの保護に十分注意すること。事前に包括的に了解を取ることに加え、例えば未成年者の場合は必ず保護者の許可を取るなど、個人情報保護や肖像権保護に十分な配慮をすること。 その他 主催者は大会前・大会期間中において上記のルールを適切な理由で変更する場合がある。また感染症拡大など予測困難な理由により、やむを得ず持ち時間の変更、及び大会開催中止等を行う場合がある。 大阪阿倍野チェスクラブ（ codfish@hyper.ocn.ne.jp）からのメールが受信できるようにし、このアドレスから送信される参加資格等についての問い合わせには、速やかに回答すること。回答がない場合には、参加を取り消すことがある。 発熱、体調不良があるときは速やかにスタッフに申し出て、ただちに会場から退出すること。主催者が明らかな体調不良と判断した場合には、退出を指示することがある。 会場内でのマスクの着用は個人の判断に委ねる。ただし、花粉症等により咳やくしゃみ等の症状がある際には、明らかな体調不良がない場合でも、新しい不織布マスクの着用を求める場合がある。 個人間で発生したトラブルに関して、主催者は一切の責任を負わない。 主催：大阪阿倍野チェスクラブ 協力：大阪アンパサンチェスクラブ -------------------------------- Tournament Details Tournament Name: 2026 Kanazawa Open Chess Tournament Dates: December 4 (Fri) – December 6 (Sun), 2026 Venue: Kanazawa City Cultural Hall (Kanazawa City, Ishikawa Prefecture) 15-1 Takaoka-machi, Kanazawa City, Ishikawa Prefecture 920-0864 Access: From JR Kanazawa Station Approx. 10 minutes by taxi; approx. 15 minutes by bus Bus Information Board at Kanazawa Station (East Exit Bus Terminal), Bus Stops No. 3 or Nos. 8–11. In the event of a tie, the domestic Standard rating, title, and name (alphabetical order) are used, in that order, to determine the ranking. The domestic Standard rating list published in December 2026 will be used for this purpose. Pairings will be conducted using the Swiss system via Swiss-Manager software. Round 1 pairings will be generated and announced after the registration period closes. Players who have not completed registration by the deadline will not be included in the Round 1 pairings and will be assigned 0 points. Players who complete check-in before all Round 1 games have concluded will be included in the pairings for subsequent rounds. If a player fails to complete registration on the day of the tournament without prior notice and does not inform the organizers of their intention to continue participating before all Round 1 games have concluded, they may be disqualified and removed from the tournament. Tie-breaks: Tie-breaks will be determined in the following order: 1. Direct Encounter (result of the match between the tied players) 2. Buchholz Cut-1 (sum of opponents' scores, excluding the lowest-scoring opponent) 3. Buchholz (sum of all opponents' scores) 4. Sonneborn-Berger (sum of points from defeated opponents and half the points from drawn opponents) 5. Sum of the Rating of the opponents 6. Drawing of lots Byes: Advance Bye: Requests for a bye will be accepted via email to codfish@hyper.ocn.ne.jp until 18:00 on the day before the tournament. An advance bye request earns 0.5 points; however, bye requests for the final two rounds will result in 0 points. Bye requests made after the deadline will also result in 0 points. Players requesting byes for two or more rounds will be ineligible for prizes. A forced bye (due to pairing constraints) earns 1 point. If you need to request a bye after the deadline on the day before the tournament or cancel your participation, please contact codfish@hyper.ocn.ne.jp via email. Cancellation and Refunds: Refunds will be issued for notifications received by 23:59 on November 16. No refunds will be provided after this time. Default Time: A player who arrives more than 30 minutes late for the start of a match will forfeit by default. There will be no change to the player's rating in the event of a default loss. If a player who defaulted without prior notice communicates their intention to continue participating before all matches in that round have concluded, they will be included in the pairings for the subsequent round. If a player who defaulted without prior notice fails to communicate their intention to continue participating to the organizers before all matches in that round have concluded, they may be disqualified and removed from the tournament. During a match, players must turn off electronic devices—such as mobile phones, tablets, and smartwatches—and store them in a bag or similar container. Wearing these devices or carrying them outside the venue (even while inside a bag) is prohibited. If a player is found to be operating or carrying an electronic device during a match, they will immediately forfeit the game. As this is not a default loss (walkover), the player's rating will be adjusted accordingly. If a player must keep an electronic device (such as a mobile phone) with them during a match due to unavoidable circumstances, they must submit a request via email to codfish@hyper.ocn.ne.jp at the time of registration, stating the reason. Possession will be permitted only if the organizer approves the request after considering the circumstances. Spectators and players who have finished their matches are also prohibited from using any electronic devices within the venue, except during times specifically designated for such use. Players must use the chess sets, clocks, and score sheets provided by the organizers. Players are required to accurately record their moves on the score sheet until the game concludes. After the game ends, both players must verify and sign the recorded result on the score sheet before reporting it to the arbiter. Any matters not specified above shall be determined in accordance with the FIDE Laws of Chess. Notes regarding awards: Prize winners who are absent from the awards ceremony will have their final ranking announced but will not receive any prizes or prize money. However, this rule does not apply if the winner has contacted the staff in advance and received approval. If the organizers deliver the award by mail or other means, the winner may be required to bear the associated costs. Media-Related Information Tournament results will be published online (at chess-results.com) for reporting purposes. Game records (scoresheets) may also be published online. By participating, players consent to the publication of their names, results, and game records. The organizers may take photographs or record videos during the tournament. These materials may be published on media managed by the organizers—such as websites, social media, video platforms, and official publications—or provided to mass media outlets in the event of press coverage. By participating, players consent to the publication of such photos and videos, as well as to live streaming. Spectators are permitted to take photographs or videos (including with mobile phones) only during the first 10 minutes after the start of a match. Photography is prohibited thereafter, unless special permission has been granted. When individuals use photographs or videos of participants (e.g., during matches or award ceremonies), they must exercise due care regarding privacy protection. In addition to obtaining general consent beforehand, individuals must give full consideration to the protection of personal information and image rights—for instance, by ensuring that permission is obtained from a guardian when minors are involved. Other The organizers reserve the right to modify the aforementioned rules for valid reasons prior to or during the tournament. Additionally, unforeseen circumstances—such as the spread of infectious diseases—may necessitate changes to time controls or the cancellation of the event. Failure to respond may result in the cancellation of your participation. If you experience a fever or feel unwell, please notify the staff immediately and leave the venue at once. The organizers may instruct you to leave if they determine that you are clearly unwell. Wearing a mask at the venue is left to individual discretion. However, if you exhibit symptoms such as coughing or sneezing—for instance, due to hay fever—you may be asked to wear a new non-woven mask, even if you do not feel otherwise unwell.
